
Renee Halgerson started Copper Ink in 2006. She is also a full-time Marketing Specialist for SDN Communications, so she is very involved with the Sioux Falls business community. She is a member of the American Institute of Graphic Artists (AIGA), Young Professionals Network Chamber of Commerce (YPN) and also volunteers with Junior Achievement and The Banquet. She is an officer in a Toastmasters group and a member of the South Dakota Advertising Federation (SDAF). She is a proud 2005 graduate of South Dakota State University (with a B.A. degree in advertising and minors in graphic design, marketing, and Spanish) and serves on the SDSU Staters Alumni Board. Renee has volunteered over 100 hours of her time to various design projects including political campaigns, Salute To The Troops and the MS-150. She has also attended many PhotoShop design conferences, making her an official member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP).
